Yeah, I'm still a Suikoden fan. I've played the first two and those were my favorites. Part III and IV just didn't appeal to me because it kind of lost the Suikoded appeal of 2D sprites. My bros played part III and IV but I didn't because it just didn't feel like Suikoden anymore with the 3D graphics. And yeah, the character designs got worse in part 4 especially. It doesn't even seem like Suikoden anymore after that.

Yep, I completely agree with you. The actual background is completely different from the thumbnail. For some reason it hasn't updated for months. I don't know why, but whatever.
